Launcher Installer Stuck

I downloaded MC from the official website. When I try to launch Launcher Installer, it opens with the message "Making things incredible" and the progress bar won't move. I tried closing it and trying to open it again. I've also tried deleting it and downloading Minecraft from the official website. If it doesn't work, I'll be trying Java edition.

Many users haven't been able to solve issues with the new launcher that was released on November 2.

Assuming that you own the game, and aren't connected to GamePass, download/install the Windows 7/8 launcher. It's the launcher that they call "the launcher" that we have used for years. (Link)

To stop the upgrade nag, right-click on the old launcher shortcut to change compatibility to Windows 8 under the Compatibility tab.

You're a lifesaver!  Netigre  downloaded it but it would not install. Similar issue to the person who posted this. It worked!

PSScroll down the link and you'll see the option to download launcher for windows 7/8 and the download can be downloaded from there. I'm stupid. I kept downloading window 10/11 over and over.
